2 ALARMS (option)

The SPA system may comprise an alarm tone generator board. (Option). This board has up

to three different alarm types.

Active alarms are indicated on the SPA 1500 STATUS panel by the ALARM led.

The alarm tone generator board will always be installed if the system includes GA.

2.1 Alarm activation / Reset

The alarms may be automatically activated / reset from an external system (F&G panel).

Alternatively an alarm control panel SPA 1503 / 1505 may be connected for manual

control and indication.

2.2 Alarm priority

The alarm signal has normal priority below any PA, but above Entertainment. This ensures

any Public Announcements to be heard at any time.

The alarm will however temporarily override any ongoing PA when initiated, but the user

may immediately regain access by reactivating the TALK button.
